Lana's Boutique, A Quick Visit
During the 12th Annual Magical Ice Fest in St. Joe, I happened to notice an usually picturesque woman's clothing store on State Street, sporting the name, The Lazy Daisy.
What caught my eye was the interior lighting of the store and the artful way it was being used to highlight the intricate textures and earth tones of the clothing and other goods on display. Thus, I was particularly struck by the sheer visual appeal of the store's interior and the down-to-Earth elegant retro goodness of the fashions offered.
Okay I will admit, as a photographer and artist I've always been attracted to the somewhat unusual aspects of culture. With a tag line like, "Adding Sparkle to your Soil" I knew somehow we had walked into the right place for quick photo-shoot. After making the request to take some natural-light interior shots of the establishment, I got to work.
